"HOPE THROUGH SCRIPTURE FOR THOSE DEALING WITH PAST SINS"
“Isaiah 43:25 I--yes, I alone--am the one who blots out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.
A few brief explanatory thoughts from the above verse:
1. This is God talking, and He does not lie about anything.
2. In fact, it's impossible for Him to lie.
3. So, what He says about your sins, is absolutely true.
4. He, and no one else have blotted out your sins. ( Blot means, to wipe away, to exterminate )
5. He did this for His own sake. Imagine that, it's because He wanted to do it for Himself.
6. And, He will never think of them again. ( They are never to come to His mind again )
A prayer:
Lord, this verse tells us the most blessed thing that we could ever
know. You have forgiven us of our sins. Thank You for sending Your Son
Jesus to die on the cross for us. And, thank You for never thinking of
our sins again, We love You Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
