"HOPE FROM SCRIPTURE FOR THOSE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR FUTURE"
The Scriptures below really speak to what God is able to do, will do, and has done.
Just a few explanatory thoughts:
1. In Jude 24, Jesus is both able to
keep you from stumbling, ( or to keep you standing firm ), and to
present you faultless (without blemish, or above reproach)
2. In Phil 1:6, We are encouraged to be
confident, because of what God is going to do. He will complete in us,
what He has begun. To complete, means, (to perfect, to accomplish, to
appoint to)
3. In Heb 12:2, we are told that Jesus
is not only the author, ( the one who takes the lead, and is thus our
example ), but, He is also the finisher, (Perfector)
A prayer of thanksgiving to God:
Lord, these verses are a tremendous
source of encouragement. Thank You for all the promises in them. Thank
You for all that You are doing, and will do. We will only realize the
fullness of these promises fully, when we finally see You face to face
in heaven. Meanwhile, we gain great comfort and hope from them. Please
give us a greater thirst for Your Word, and speak to us from it, and
give us understanding in it, and give us the grace to have the personal
resolve to live out what You show us.
