It's my desire to "simply teach the Bible simply" and thus in this daily devotional, you will normally find a Scripture, and then a simple explanation of that Scripture, along with some practical application, and promises from the Lord... and a prayer for the Lord to use His Word to bring forth fruit in our lives. I welcome your comments, and would love to share them with others and be encouraged with you.

Pastor Bob...Concerning your point..."The only thing He looks for is a humble heart" Philippians 2:3-4 says......"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."..... God doesn't respond to a proud heart...... Thanks for teaching the Word here at Calvary Chapel Visalia
